Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: [INSERT DATE]

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases of SoloPROP aircraft Listing Plans and should be read together with the SoloPROP Listing Plan Terms & Conditions.
1. The SoloPROP Listing Service

A SoloPROP Listing Plan provides the purchaser with the opportunity to submit one aircraft listing for publication on the SoloPROP marketplace for the period specified by the Listing Plan purchased.

A Listing Plan provides advertising/listing services only. It does not guarantee that an aircraft will be sold, generate enquiries, receive offers, or achieve any particular result.

Nothing in this Policy limits, excludes or waives any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable South African law.
2. Statutory Consumer Rights

SoloPROP will comply with applicable South African consumer-protection and electronic-commerce legislation, including any mandatory cancellation, cooling-off, refund or other consumer rights applicable to a transaction.

Where a statutory right applies, that right takes precedence over any conflicting provision of this Policy.
3. Circumstances in Which a Refund May Be Available

Subject to applicable law, a full refund may be available where:

-
a customer has made a duplicate payment for the same intended purchase;
-
a customer has been incorrectly charged because of a SoloPROP, payment-processing or technical error;
-
SoloPROP is unable to provide the Listing Service that was purchased;
-
SoloPROP determines that an aircraft cannot reasonably be accepted for publication and the issue cannot reasonably be corrected before the purchased service can be provided; or
-
a refund is otherwise required by applicable law.

SoloPROP may request reasonable information or documentation necessary to verify a refund request.
4. Change of Mind and Voluntary Cancellation

A change of mind after purchasing a Listing Plan does not automatically create a voluntary refund entitlement, except where a statutory cancellation or cooling-off right applies.
Subject to applicable law, a refund will not ordinarily be provided solely because:

-
the seller decides not to advertise the aircraft;
-
the seller does not complete or submit the listing;
-
the seller receives fewer enquiries than expected;
-
the aircraft does not sell;
-
the seller withdraws or suspends the listing before the end of its purchased period;
-
the seller is dissatisfied with the performance of the listing; or
-
the seller simply changes their mind.
5. Sale of the Aircraft

The sale of an aircraft does not, by itself, entitle the seller to cancel the Listing Plan or receive a refund.

A Listing Plan purchases advertising/listing services for the specified period; it does not purchase a guaranteed period of aircraft ownership or guarantee that the aircraft will remain available for sale.

If an aircraft is sold, the seller should notify SoloPROP so that the listing can be marked as sold, withdrawn or otherwise removed from public display as appropriate.

No pro-rata refund will ordinarily be provided merely because the aircraft was sold before the Listing Plan expired, subject to any statutory rights that may apply.
6. Listing Review and Rejection

SoloPROP may request corrections, additional information or supporting material where a submitted listing does not meet SoloPROP's listing requirements.

Where a problem can reasonably be corrected, the seller will normally be given an opportunity to correct the listing.
7. Verification and Publication Delays

SoloPROP normally verifies Listing Plan purchases within one business day. Customers should allow up to two business days in exceptional circumstances.

A verification or review delay does not automatically create a refund entitlement.

Where SoloPROP is responsible for a material delay in providing the purchased service, SoloPROP may, where appropriate, extend the applicable listing period or provide another reasonable remedy.
8. Refund Requests

Refund requests must be submitted in writing by email to SoloPROP's following email address: info@solopropaviation.com
The request should include:

-
The following subject line: Refund Request
-
Full name and surname;
-
SoloPROP account email address;
-
Purchase or transaction reference;
-
Listing Plan purchased;
-
Purchase date; and
-
Reason for the refund request.

SoloPROP may request additional information reasonably necessary to assess the request.
9. Processing Refund Requests

SoloPROP aims to review a complete refund request within 5 business days.

If approved, SoloPROP aims to initiate the refund within 5 business days after approval, subject to any shorter or otherwise applicable statutory requirement.

Where applicable law requires a refund within a specified period, that statutory period will apply.
10. Method and Timing of Refund

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

SoloPROP will not ordinarily redirect a refund to a different payment method or third-party account.

After SoloPROP initiates a refund, the time required for the funds to appear in the customer's account may vary according to the payment provider, card issuer, bank or other financial institution.
11. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

Customers should inform SoloPROP via the email address info@solopropaviation.com as soon as reasonably possible if they believe they have made a duplicate payment or have been incorrectly charged.

Following verification, SoloPROP will correct the duplicate or incorrect charge where appropriate.
12. Listing Expiry, Withdrawal and Re-listing

A Listing Plan is valid for the duration specified for the plan purchased.

A listing that expires, is withdrawn, suspended or removed before the end of its purchased period does not automatically create a right to a pro-rata refund, except where required by applicable law or otherwise approved by SoloPROP.

An expired or withdrawn aircraft that the seller wishes to advertise again requires a new Listing Plan and a new listing process.
13. Additional Aircraft Listings

Each additional aircraft listing by the same seller requires its own Listing Plan purchase and separate listing submission.

Purchasing another Listing Plan does not automatically create or publish another aircraft listing.
14. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions

SoloPROP may investigate suspected fraudulent, unauthorized or abusive transactions and may suspend related account or listing activity while the matter is investigated, subject to applicable law.
15. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Customers should contact SoloPROP first where they believe a payment was made incorrectly or a refund is due.

Nothing in this Policy prevents a customer from exercising any right available under applicable law.
16. Changes to This Policy

SoloPROP may update this Policy from time to time. The version applicable to a purchase will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the terms presented to the customer at the time of purchase.
17. Contact

Refund and cancellation requests and related questions must be submitted through the official SoloPROP customer-support contact details published on the website.
